High Impact Credit Solutions is a tradeline service that offers the bare-bones minimum for people wishing to add a tradeline to their credit score

The website is an application form with a table of available tradelines. The site doesn’t list any contact information or any information about the business at all. After you enter your information, you are asked to officially sign at the bottom, and they say they will contact you within a couple of days.

A Delaware-based company, Delaware Credit Doctor LLC, posted the link to the High Impact Credit Solutions app on their Instagram account, but when reached for comment they said: “I don’t fuck with them.” Other than that link, there is no identifying information on the site.

High Impact does have a decent amount of inventory with over 350 available lines, at the time of writing. The web app also has a handy search function, which puts it ahead of some other, low-tech tradeline providers. The inventory they have is a mix of newer and older tradelines and a range of values between <$10,000 and >$30,000.

The site also promises that “all information submitted is encrypted and secure, and you maintain control over our access to your private information at all times,” though this claim is impossible to verify. Ultimately, this service lacks the assurances a consumer should have for before they send someone their social security number and credit card information through the internet.

High Impact Strengths

High Impact’s minimalist interface may have an attraction for some. They do have a decent amount of inventory and the prices are not unreasonable.

High Impact Areas for Improvement

Creating a website would be a good start. Companies don’t just create websites for marketing purposes. They also use their sites to demonstrate good faith and signal to potential consumers that they’re not a fly-by-night scam.

There is no way to verify the claims made by High Impact without going through the process of giving them your sensitive information. Though the claim your information is stored securely, the only way to find out is to give them your information first, and by then it’s too late. And besides, isn’t that something a scammer would tell you anyway?

Is High Impact Right for You?

If you’re the kind of person who likes to shop around the internet and hates talking to living human beings, High Impact might fit the bill. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

The lure of a site like High Impact is that you can buy a better credit score for a few hundred dollars anonymously on the internet. But that’s not how it works. A reputable site will tell you that to actually improve your score, you have to engage in credit repair — like paying off your debts and making regular, small payments throughout the month on your credit cards. These are also called micropayments, and they not only boost your credit score, but they also keep you aware of how much money you owe on a regular basis.

If you have the money to spend on buying a credit line from High Impact, the better option might be to use your savings as collateral on a secured credit card or loan. Secured credit requires an up-front deposit. Make sure to only get secured credit that reports to all three major credit reporting agencies.

Pros
  • Fair pricing
  • Majority lines have at least 4 years of history
  • Decent inventory
Cons
  • The site is a web app and has no information to guide consumers
  • Customer service appears to be non-existent
  • No way to verify the identities of people in the company
Overall
2/5

The bare-bones aspect of the site is good for people who know what they are doing and are only interested in comparison shopping. For everyone else, the total lack of information and customer service is a red flag.

Pricing
3/5

Prices for High Impact Tradelines are in the middle of the range of companies we’ve surveyed. This is, unfortunately, not what you would expect from a bare-bones site where the lack of customer information should make the product cheaper.

Inventory
3/5

Similar to the pricing situation, High Impact’s inventory is good by industry standards — but not great. You can get the same number of seasoned tradelines elsewhere along with customer support and lots of quality information.

Customer Experience
1/5

There are some people who only want the basic information — people who like to build their own computers and run a Linux OS, for example. For those people High Impact may be their cup of tea. For everyone else, the complete lack of information and transparency is a deal-breaker.

Trustworthiness
1/5

If there was any way to verify any of the information on the web app or to find out if any other people have had a good experience with High Impact, it would receive a higher score in this category. Unfortunately, the only way to find out if this is a scam or not is to give them your social security number, which is not a good idea.
